Jennifer Sneed is an experienced public affairs professional, with an extensive background in government and non-profit work. A passionate communicator, she is drawn to work that connects people.
Sneed has worked with a number of entities including DreamPlay Media, The Gateway Project, NJ Highlands Coalition, Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County, interACT Theatre Productions and Biederman Redevelopment Ventures. In addition to her Gateway Affairs projects, she is an assistant public information manager in Newark and an actress in the tri-state area.
Sneed is a former deputy state director for the late Senator Frank R. Lautenberg, having worked with the United States Senate advocating on behalf of the constituents of New Jersey for 10 years. Additionally, she has worked as senior director of communications at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, as senior policy and communications advisor for Brick City Development Corporation, and as a planner and program manager for NJ Transit, the third-largest provider of bus, rail and light rail service in the United States.
Sneed has co-hosted and co-produced talk shows; starred in commercial, film and video work; appeared on television, in theater and fashion shows. She holds a B.A. from Rutgers University in Journalism & Mass Media, Political Science and Communications. A proud alumna of Rutgers, she is very devoted to giving back to her alma mater having served on several committees under the Rutgers University Alumni Association and as an active board member for the Rutgers School of Communication and Information Alumni Association. Sneed currently resides in Hillside, New Jersey.
